Hello Swim League Families,

We are excited for our meet this weekend! Below is some important information for the week, including Friday’s college dual meet and Saturday’s Swim League meet.

Saturday Swim Meet @ Midco Aquatic Center shallow pool

Doors Open: 7:45 AM

Warm-Up: 8:15 AM

Meet Start: 8:30 AM

Estimated Finish: 9:30 AM

Entrance: Please use the meet entrance rather than the main entrance. Walk around the main entrance to the east-facing entrance; there will be signs directing you to the correct entrance. This will take you into the main hallway leading to the pool.

During the meet, we will be running our competition while the SFST competitive groups are completing their warm-up.

The Goal of This Meet

Our goal this weekend is to encourage each swimmer to take on a challenge. In swimming, challenges can mean trying a new event, racing a longer distance, or working toward a personal best time.

Swimmers will be racing some longer events at this meet, and we want to celebrate their willingness to step outside their comfort zone and give their best effort. The focus is on learning, competing, and building confidence—not simply where they finish.

Friday & Saturday Meet Viewing Opportunities

Midco is hosting a college dual meet on Friday at 5:00 PM, and our Swim League swimmers are invited to attend and watch. This is optional and not mandatory for our league swimmers, just a fun way to see high level swimming.

Tickets will be at the door Swimmers are Free, Parents: $5

Saturday – SFST Meet

After our Swim League meet concludes, all League swimmers are invited to stay and watch the SFST competitive team meet as well. This is a great opportunity for swimmers to see older teammates compete and experience another level of the sport.

You are free to leave after the League Meet on Saturday as well.

All Swim League swimmers must watch from the upstairs viewing area.

Swim League T-Shirts

If you missed your opportunity to pick up your swimmer’s League shirt, shirts will be available for pickup at the meet entrance on Saturday.

We look forward to seeing everyone this weekend and watching our swimmers take on some new challenges!
