Hello Swim League Parents,

Due to the meet and the water temperatures, we will not be having practices on the morning of Tuesday June 23rd at Kuehn. That means no practices on the 23rd for any Summer League group.

We are excited to host our next swim meet at the Midco Aquatic Center on Tuesday, June 23 at 5:30 PM!

This meet will feature the same events as our Kuehn Park meet, with the addition of the 50 Freestyle for our older swimmers (two lengths of the pool).

We will also be handing out team t-shirts at the meet. If you are unable to attend, t-shirts will be available for pickup at practices on June 25 and June 30.

Our goals for the Midco meet are similar to those of our first meet: staying with our positive attitudes, learning how to race, and supporting teammates. We will also begin introducing swimmers to the concepts of personal best times and increased independence as athletes.

The Midco Aquatic Center provides a different meet environment than Kuehn Park. Parents will be seated in the upstairs spectator area, separate from the swimmers. Coaches and volunteers will help guide swimmers to their events and ensure they are where they need to be throughout the meet. At the conclusion of the meet, swimmers will be released to their parents.

We encourage you to cheer loudly and support all of our swimmers from the upstairs stands!

Our Following meet will be held at EmBe on July 13th, our plan for this meet will be to introduce relays. Last meet of the Season will be July 28th at Kuehn park. Last practices will be July 23rd.

We look forward to another fun evening of racing and team spirit.
